I spilled gold shimmer nail polish on the ground. I rubbed nail polish remover,water,hairspray,and rubbing alcohol and it still won't come out!How do you get nail polish stains out of the carpet?
What type of nail polish remover did you use? Did it have acetone? You need acetone, but dab a little in the corner of a closet first. Not all carpets are colorfast to acetone.How do you get nail polish stains out of the carpet?
Sorry to disappoint you but once nail polish is on fabric/carpet....its on there for life.
Its an enamel and products used to remove it such as acetone nail polish remover will almost always damage the carpet and fabric and wont take the polish out after it has dried.
