There is a product called Afta by gaurdsman that will remove the nail polish. Make sure you work the spot inwards so you don't make it larger. If you have any excess carpet, a carpet installer could cut out the damaged area %26amp; seam in a new peice.
Not sure about the couch, check the directions.

Git acetone and cotton ball or a white rag and put the acetone on the couch alittle bit only and then rub it off ONCE YUH ARE done it will stick like nasty ahah so git lyk fabreeze and spary it on it so that it eliminates the odor
