How do you get nail polish off without remover?

I have nasty bright red nail-polish on and i'm at my grandpa's and i have school tomorrow and i really don't want to wear it, it's from halloween... Help!! And I have no chance of getting any remover.How do you get nail polish off without remover?
try some rubbing alcohol.. i've had to use it before.. it takes more elbow grease but it does work.





or you can sand it away with a nail buffer.

Look for something to cover it maybe a dark pink . Red is tohard to get off even with nail polish remover.

Peeling off is an option but thats harmful to your nails. I recommend that you paint your nails over with another nail polish, and then get a tissue and remove the paint from ur fingers (while the new coat is still wet). This usually removes the paint at the bottom as well as the top :)

take some nail polish you dont like and paint it on top of the nail polish. than put on like 2 more coats not letting it fully dry between coats.(let it get a little tacky but not hard) than let it dry about 10 mins and run it under hot water and it should peel off. cheaper nail polish works better.
Sometimes if I paint over my nail polish with more nail polish and then wipe if off straight after it brings the other layer off. You could try that.

You paint another layer nailpolish on you nail, and then you just wipe it of right away.
