What color nail polish with a gold dress?

My Christmas dance is tonight and I'm wearing a strapless gold sequined dress with gold heels and a pearl necklace. What color nails should my nails be?What color nail polish with a gold dress?
white with gold flecksWhat color nail polish with a gold dress?
clear. your dress is going to be the centerpiece/attention grabber. no need to have your nails competing with it. keep it simple
The best way to go is with the classic french manicure. They never clash with anything and they always look FABULOUS!!! Have fun at your dance!!!!
OOOh

Er i think just having a clear nail varnish on will look ok or have black nail varnish!!
dark dark gray or black if you want something edgy...

or a sheer nude color for a natural look =]
french manicure or gold
black definitely
black is a good contrast with gold

steer away from metallics as it will clash
dark burgundy
you should paint your nails a yellowish gold color or either white

P.S i think you will look really good tonight
white with gold flowerss:D
a purple nail polish will go great that dress
either black or french. maybe a dark dark red almost like a maroon-ish black ?

What is the best way to get burgandy nail polish out of a beige carpet?

I know nail polish remover is probably the easy answer but I wasn't sure if it would affect the carpet. What is the best way to get burgandy nail polish out of a beige carpet?
Your could try some rubbing alcohol...:)What is the best way to get burgandy nail polish out of a beige carpet?
Depending on what your carpet is made of, the polish remover might dissolve the carpet. Try snipping a bit from an inconspicuous location and see what happens when you put the remover on it. There are removers with and without acetone and it might make a difference, so if one doesn't work, try the other.
extreme carpet stain remover. or call 1-800-STEAMER stanley steamer gets your home cleaner!!!

Is there anyway that you can get finger nail polish out of carpet?

You might think this is crazy, but 3-m glue adhesive remover[Napa Auto stores carry it] I've personally have seen it take all kinds of stains out of cpt. without hurting the carpet. you may still have a slight tint of color left. For this part take a damp white cloth or towel over stain and use an iron with a steamer this should pull the rest of the stain out.

Good luckIs there anyway that you can get finger nail polish out of carpet?
use nail polish remover... remove some then in a circle motion use some elbow breeze..... the pour some more and clean again in a circular motion but dont widen the circular motion, because you may get a larger area dirty......... repeat and repeat....................... use a fan to dry the carpet......... i hope this works.......... won't you please kindly reply............thanks and have a great day............Is there anyway that you can get finger nail polish out of carpet?

What color nail polish would go go with a yellow dress with silver sequin designs?

I have to get my nails done on thursday for something and im wearing a yellow dress with silver sequins on it. It's like a pale yellow and im wearing silver shoes. Thanks in advance! =DWhat color nail polish would go go with a yellow dress with silver sequin designs?
pearly white, with silver maybe....What color nail polish would go go with a yellow dress with silver sequin designs?
white would look good, or silver.
pale pink or silver :] and red matches anything! i'd go for red :]
get french manic. or gold nails
I wouldn't go too overboard with a color. I would do a French tip or using a really light color, maybe even a clear polish with a silver sparkle to it.
French manicure. It's classic and it goes with anything. :-)
are you bold?

depending on the dress and the occasion a fire engine red would do the trick. But thats assuming the place you are going is formal (but youthful) and really forward.

If its something more common, and less statement-heardy a pale peachy/pink or a simple french would do the trick.

Urban Outfitters mixed yellow silver and violet together in their new campaign... but thats really out there.
you should do white , french tips with silver on top or just all silver.... or you could get a really sparkly fake nails
Gold with silver ;) The perfect combo
A french manicure with a pale lilac to natural polish, you want the attention to go directly to you and your dress. The nails not so much.

ENJOY !!

( ;
You already have a lot of flash in your outfit- go with a french manicure or the same pale colour minus the tips.
Sounds really pretty!

I'd get a pale pink, peach, or pale french manicure in pink, peach, or nude. Classy and elegant.

You'll be gorgeous!
A white, pearly finish or have your nails French tipped.

How can I get nail polish out of my sheets?

My daughter spilled nail polish on my sheets-it's already dried-can my sheets be saved? How can I get nail polish out of my sheets?
sorry, their goneHow can I get nail polish out of my sheets?
This method should work for most fabrics: After testing for colorfastness on a hidden spot, sponge over the stain with pure acetone, available at beauty-supply shops and drugstores. Then launder the sheets as you normally would. Never use acetone on fabrics that contain triacetate or acetate (check care labels), because it can dissolve the cloth. For those, use amyl acetate, available at drugstores.
Nail polish remover...just keep running it through and scraping it with your finger nails lightly. Try not to make the spot any larger.

As far as 'saving' the sheets...how big is the spot? You are sleeping on them. Not like it's all that noticeable. Worse case scenerio, you could cut the spot out and patch over it.
Uh, in fabric, like sheets.... they are pretty much unsaveable.

Keep the nail polish out of reach and let your daughter know your bedroom is OFF LIMITS to her in the future.
Doesn't nail polish remover work?
Um, nail polish remover or paint thinner... while it's still soaking, throw it in the wash with some color safe bleach.
with a pair of scissors. May look nicer if you use pinking shears.
One word, they're gone. Have a nice memorial service %26amp; go buy some more.

What is the strongest nail polish that will prevent chipping?

I don't really think I rough up my hands at work that much, but I can't seem to find a good brand of polish that gaurds against chipping! I've tried Sally hansen 10 no chip polish, with no avail. Help! I hate doing my nails every night because they won't stay nice! What is the strongest nail polish that will prevent chipping?
Sally Hansen, NO CHIP, HARD AS NAILSWhat is the strongest nail polish that will prevent chipping?
Make sure you let one coat of nail polish dry thoroughly, before you apply the second coat. Once the second coat dries thoroughly, apply a clear top coat to seal the polish.
Well to keep the polish, dont wash dishes without gloves and take shorter showers. It could be your nails arent very healthy, so take a vitamin. Believe it or not, I prefer the cheaper nail polish that is chip proof. I think it last longer. Sorry I cant remember the name.
Barry M, its really good, and comes in loads of really bright colours, sold in superdrug. Usually if you have a good seethrough varnish, you can put on any crappy nail varnish and it will stay
i dont know, but i have the same problem! and once one nail starts chipping, i chip ALL of the polish off of all my nails!! its soo annoying, but i cant help it!

*adds to watchlist*
Sounds like you have dry hands/nails. Also, be sure to wear rubber gloves when doing dishes and house cleaning, water soaked nails and cleaning products really undermine a manicure!

I have really soft thin nails and have found the longest lasting to be Revlon ColorStay... it is a two part deal, color and then a top coat. If you choose to wear dark colors I recommend using a clear coat before applying the color (otherwise you will have bad nail stain). They don't have a very wide selection of colors, but do come out with new colors each season.

The ColorStay dries to a flexible finish instead of the usual hard finish most polishes have. This helps lots with avoiding chips. Give it a try!
Hard Candy, Sally Henson, and Revlon have brands specially made for ';no chip.'; I've tried all three, and have no complaints. =)

  • How do you remove large amounts of nail polish off your entire hand?

A bottle of nail polish broke and I picked it up and now i can't take it off.

Anyone know how to remove it?How do you remove large amounts of nail polish off your entire hand?
I would not recommend you use nail polish because it will irritate your skin to much. You should try something like GOJO NATURAL ORANGE Pumice Hand Cleaner, It is most often used in places like auto shops, painters, and places where you can get your hands dirty. I have used this to remove paint and grease from my hands and it worked like a charm. How do you remove large amounts of nail polish off your entire hand?
nail polish remover would probably work best but since it is meant for you nails you should probably do it lightly then wash your hand in the sink and repeat. but if you can live with the nail polish on your hands for a day or two i would do that and see if it just naturally wears off or if some comes off. but if you like are going to a wedding tomorrow i would try and get it off NOW! :)

    hih
...nail polish remover is your best bet. just use cotton balls like you would for your finger nails. and rub gently dont scrub because you dont want to irritate your skin too much.
